Fun, Foodie, and Friendly Kasadyahan sa Kabanwahanan 2024

Get ready for a vibrant feast of Iloilo's diverse cultural tapestry as "Kasadyahan sa Kabanwahanan" gears up for its 2024 edition, promising heightened performances and a leveled-up experience.

This highlight of the 2024 Dinagyang Festival will truly embody Iloilo province's new tourism slogan, "Fun, Foodie, and Friendly Iloilo." Nine competing festivals ("tribes") from across the province will take center stage, each showcasing their unique customs, traditions, and vibrant energy.

Governor Arthur Defensor, Jr. promises a "leveled-up" Kasadyahan, aimed at creating a comprehensive festival package that mirrors Iloilo's diverse tourism appeal. He expressed gratitude to the city government of Iloilo and the Iloilo Festivals Foundation, Inc. (IFFI) for collaborating with the provincial government to make this grand event possible.

Mayor Jerry TreƱas shared his excitement about the Iloilo provincial government's first time managing Kasadyahan. He recognizes the festival's importance as a platform to display Iloilo's rich and vibrant culture, which is an integral part of the Dinagyang Festival's identity.

  • Katagman Festival of Oton
  • Saad Festival of Leganes
  • Pantat Festival of Zarraga
  • Cry of Jelicuon Festival of New Lucena
  • Kaing Festival of Leon
  • Tultugan Festival of Maasin
  • Hirinugyaw-Suguidanonay Festival of Calinog (2023 champion)
  • Banaag Festival of Anilao
  • Kasag Festival of Banate

To ensure phenomenal performances, each participating tribe has received a P1 million subsidy from the provincial government. Here are the prizes for 

  • 1st Place: P500,000
  • 2nd Place: P350,000
  • 3rd Place: P200,000

Consolation Prizes: P50,000 for non-winning tribes
